Good, quick oil change service. Had to downgrade my usual oil filter because they didn't have a comparable one in stock. Also used 5W-30 oil instead of my model-recommended 10W-30. Truthfully, I drive a junk heap--no biggie for a one-time deal. Oil change time was relatively quick in about an hour. Jordan and Randy at the front register were very kind and helpful! Would have been 5 stars had my desired parts been in stock and used during the service.
Got me in without an appointment and took care of my issues without question. Superb staff and very professional attitude towards customer care and working within my available time frame. 10/10.
I am VERY disappointed. I went there to get my car inspection done and it failed. They seemed very helpful and I was told that I needed to replace two specific things that they highlighted for me before it would pass. I asked them how much it would be to replace them and they said the parts including labor would cost me $533! I was shocked, but thanked them for their time and paid for my inspection. I immediately called a family member and I bought the parts for $70! The next day my family member went to replace it and saw nothing wrong with my car. He then took it back down to Plaza Tire and asked them if they could show him what was wrong with it. Two different men looked at my car and said they couldn't find a problem with anything! He then went and confronted them about failing my inspection and telling me it would cost $533 to fix it. They DENIED that they did any of that, but he had the papers to prove it. My family member then proceeded to take it somewhere else to get a THIRD opinion and my car passed inspection! This is not even the worst part: I took my car there a few months ago to change my oil and they said they replaced the pin in my oil pan. Today my family member changed my oil and they actually didn't replace anything. I'm so glad I have family that can and is willing to help me with anything! If I had been on my own I probably would have taken their word and been out over $500! I'm so disappointed that I can't even trust a local shop. Good thing there isn't a zero star rating.
Second time I've been there since I'm moved to Desoto they have been Awesome service and they are pretty accurate with estimated time of how long they are going to take.
