The hospitality of Calvary Baptist Church during the solar eclipse was so pleasantly refreshing. You could tell from the way that they gave of themselves freely, that they literally practice what they preach. This gave me such inspiration and hope that I made a pilgrimage back with my family, who weren't able to make the trip the first time, just to go worship with them, the next weekend. Mind you, it is almost 400 miles each way. They touched me that much!!!!
During the 2017 eclipse this church opened their parking lot and their building to viewers. They made sure everyone was comfortable and had refreshments available during this time. In talking with the pastor and his wife we were impressed with their testimony and their passion for serving the Lord. If we lived closer we would certainly be visiting this church!
